Indian low-cost airline Go First received another government grant of around US$49.4 million in November 2022. This brings the volume granted through the emergency fund to $98.8 million.
In October 2022, the Indian government announced that the so-called Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme would be extended and continued. Go First is the first airline known to have received additional funding since then. According to reports, other providers, including Spicejet, have also submitted corresponding applications.
