The Greek Star Alliance member Aegean Airlines has some new destinations in its program in the current 2022/23 winter flight schedule from its home base in Athens: Riyadh, Paphos, Podgorica, Cologne/Bonn, Florence, Eindhoven and Basel. After a few weeks of operation, the carrier draws an initial positive balance.
From Thessaloniki Airport, the destinations Zurich, Berlin, Brussels, Hamburg, Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Malpensa have been added to the program for the current 2022/23 winter period. These are routes that were newly added in summer 2022 and later decided to offer them all year round. Aegean Airlines reports that they are also satisfied with the number of bookings and capacity utilization on these routes.
