As the world’s first « wine airline », a new airline will be launched in Auckland, New Zealand, under the name « Invivo Air ». One wants to fly between Auckland and Queenstown in a Saab 340A operated by Air Chathams.
The premiere flight is scheduled for January 31, 2023. On board, the company founders want to offer a wine tasting accompanied by music. Afterwards there will be a gala event in a hotel. Behind the virtual airline is Rob Camero, guitarist of the band Razorback Road.
In the future, « Invivo Air » will regularly offer « wine flights » nationally and internationally. An exact route network has not yet been determined. Air Chathams Saab 340A aircraft will be used. As with virtual constructions, these will be carried out formally as charter flights.
