The US low-cost airline Spirit Airlines will fly out its 31 Airbus A319 aircraft. 29 machines participating in company ownership were sold to Gryphon Trading Company. The rest are returned to the lessor.
According to the stock exchange announcement, the transaction will bring in net proceeds of between 152 and 201 million US dollars. The margin is due to the fact that price adjustments were agreed at the time of the actual handover. 14 Airbus A319s are to be phased out overnight this year, and 15 units next year.
